I am researching visiting Brittany from Ireland. Is there anywhere you would recommend visiting in particular. We like coastal spots, and towns with culture

That sounds like a wonderful trip! I’ve only explored the Emerald Coast near Saint-Malo, but I love it. There are so many charming towns, dramatic coastal walks, and incredible seafood. Dinard, Saint Lunaire, Saint-Briac-sur-Mer, and Cancale are all beautiful, each with a slightly different vibe. If you like a mix of coastal scenery and culture, you’ll have plenty to explore.

I’ve also heard amazing things about Île de Ré (a bit further south but stunning), the medieval charm of Dinan, and the long beach at La Baule. Brest is on my list too; curious to see that part of Brittany for myself one day!

If you want tons of old medieval towns, it might be nice to do the Emerald Coast --> Mont Saint Michel and Normandy as well (near Honfleur/Deauville/etc.).

Thank you for the tips. We did Normandy last year. Coastal route included Mont St Michel, Granville, the DDay beaches on north coast. And visited Trouville-sur-Mer, Deauville, and Honfleur. Those towns are beautiful.
